Objetivos
Unit 1
In this unit students learn to describe the home and familiar surroundings, as well as to give personal descriptions of the past and ask about quantities. They revise and consolidate basic vocabulary and learn more adjectives to describe people and places: home, furniture, months, cities, etc. Regarding grammar, students learn the past simple of the verb "to be" and the impersonal past: "there was/there were".
Students learn time expressions such as: "now", "yesterday", "last week", "last night" and their use in past sentences. Students revise quantity expressions: "how much/how many"?
